John Brown was one of the founders of Brown University, an American merchant, politician, member of the Sons of Liberty, and slave trader...wait...what?...well we'll just stop right there. A member of the Sons of Liberty or not...the man fought passionately FOR slavery of his fellow man, so we won't be honoring him here.
